Dr. Bruce Carlisle was raised near Petaluma, CA. and currently resides with his wife in Fortuna. He graduated from U.C. Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1980.

Dr. Carlisle is a member of the AVMA, CVMA, AAEP, and BCHA and particularly enjoys investigating equine lameness issues.
Why I chose this profession
He practiced in Humboldt County for 11 years before becoming a partner at NCVH in 1994.
Personal Hobbies & Interests
In his free time he takes pleasure in hunting, abalone diving, canoeing, riding his mules and packing into backcountry wilderness areas.
