Our experienced veterinarians rotate between the 2 locations, supported by a knowledgeable and caring support staff. NCVH provides a wide range of medical, surgical, diagnostic and preventive care to horses, cattle, sheep, goats and pigs, including mobile and emergency services to Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity Counties.

History
Our Arcata location features a barn with both standard size stalls and a mare and foal stall, and four outside corrals. We have two stocks to accommodate even draft size horses. For cattle, we're equipped with a squeeze chute, a loading ramp, and holding pens capable of accommodating multiple loads. Our covered work area is secure and sheltered from Humboldt County's unpredictable weather conditions. Hours are Monday-Friday 8-5 and Saturday 9-1.
Our Fortuna location functions as a satellite office and has a barn with two standard stalls and a mare and foal stall, stocks, and two outside corrals. Hours are Monday-Thursday 9-5.
Both offices are equipped for digital radiology, ultrasonography, and endoscopy.
We have fully equipped ambulatory vehicles allowing the doctors to perform many procedures in the field.
The retail area of our two locations offer a variety of trusted quality veterinary supplies in both brand name and generics. These products include vaccines, de-wormers, insecticides, antibiotics/antibacterials, supplements, bandaging material and more. If there is a product or item that we don't carry, chances are good we'll be able to order it for you.
