We are seeking an enthusiastic and efficient veterinary technician/assistant to join an established full-service veterinary practice. Only serious candidates who have decided to pursue a career in the veterinary field are invited to apply. We are able to accommodate applicants who are seeking an introduction to the field.
- 1 year continuous verifiable experience working in a role as a veterinary technician in a veterinary facility
- must have basic technician skills including but not limited to venipuncture, injection administration, typing, customer service acumen, proper restraint, anesthesia monitoring, etc. (is preferred but we are willing to train)
- Full or part time hours are available with most shifts scheduled in the afternoon. Weekend and holiday availability on a rotation is a must.
- Team members are cross-trained and expected to assist in all areas of the facility. Customer service experience in a veterinary setting is required and all applicants must be comfortable discussing patient care with clients in person and over the phone. Applicants must be able to work independently without supervision, be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and dedicated to the practice and our patients.
