Requirements:
Experience preferable in the following areas; surgery preparation, patient monitoring, and aftercare, dental procedures including dental radiology, drawing blood proficient, IV catheter placement skilled, radiography, performing laboratory tests, and filling prescriptions.
Required skills:
Experience (2 years minimum) preferable in veterinary practice as a veterinary assistant or technician with exposure to general practice situations.
Ability to multi-task under pressure and maintain composure while working with patients and their owners.
A desire to work with a varied caseload that includes outpatient visits, and surgical or dental patients
A desire to advance education and learn new skills.
An understanding and appreciation for building positive work relationships due to aspirations of being known as a team player.
Ability to work with clients in a caring and professional manner.
Proficient in assisting or performing dental prophylaxis and dental digital radiology
Drawing blood proficient and IV catheter proficient.
