A high-quality veterinary hospital in Charleston, WV is seeking an energetic and hardworking Veterinary Technician to join our team at Valley West Veterinary Hospital. We are a well-established, fast-paced practice looking for a dependable and enthusiastic team player who is passionate about working with animals. As a Veterinary Technician, your duties will include but are not limited to assisting doctors in all types of veterinary care; performing lab tests such as chemistry profiles, fecal exams, and urinalysis; performing x-rays; assisting in surgeries; performing dental cleanings; preparing and dispensing medications; assisting with client education; and excellent customer service. Dependability and punctuality is a must. Must be able to lift 45 lbs. Ability to work weekends and holidays is required.
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Veterinary Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
- Veterinary Technician Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Veterinary Technician Certification (Preferred)
