Point Vicente Animal Hospital is an oceanfront, privately owned small animal, avian and exotic practice nestled between Redondo Beach and Long Beach in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. We are looking for a full-time veterinarian to join our five-doctor team.
We are seeking a candidate that meets our exceedingly high medical standards, but also enjoys the fun and camaraderie that comes with being part of a community practice. We work hard, but we like to make the days enjoyable.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a commitment to providing the highest level of client service, is a must. Our hospital is well-equipped with the necessary tools of the trade including digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, full in-house lab machines and a therapeutic Companion laser. We offer integrative medicine including acupuncture, and have an extremely experienced and well-trained technical staff, including 3 RVT’s. We also work closely with board- certified mobile surgeons, internal medicine specialists and a cardiologist, all of whom provide services at our hospital as needed.
We offer a four-day workweek, including Saturday shifts – but no overnight or on-call hours. We offer a competitive salary, along with an excellent benefits package including health insurance, paid vacation, licensing, association dues, 401K and CE allowance.
