We are seeking an enthusiastic, efficient, and experienced veterinary receptionist to join an established full-service veterinary practice. Only serious candidates who have decided to pursue a career in the veterinary field are invited to apply. We are unable to accommodate applicants who are seeking an introduction to the field. This position is available for experienced veterinary receptionists only.
Required:
- must have over 1 year continuous verifiable experience employed in a role as a veterinary receptionist in a veterinary facility (not human healthcare fields or rescue organizations)
- must have basic reception skills including but not limited to phone etiquette, typing, customer service acumen, multitasking ability, general companion animal care knowledge, etc.
- Full or part time hours are available. Weekend and holiday availability on a rotation is a must.
- Team members are cross-trained and expected to assist in all areas of the facility. Customer service experience in a veterinary setting is required and all applicants must be comfortable discussing patient care with clients in person and over the phone. Applicants must be able to work independently without supervision, be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and dedicated to the practice and our patients.
