Share a few sentences about your professional background and what drew you to GeniusVets.
My background is primarily in content writing/editing, communications, and digital marketing. I have experience supporting clients across a variety of industries, including pet care, clean energy, and tech. I've worked as a writer for platforms like Rover.com and have volunteered for several rescues to help animals find their forever homes. I care deeply about helping pet parents (and the people who serve them) succeed, which is what led me to GeniusVets.
What do you love about your role? If you're new to the team, what drew you to this specific role?
I love making clients feel truly seen, heard, appreciated, and supported.
Family Info
- Dillon (Husband): We just got married in Vegas in April!
- Mina: Corgi/Australian Cattle Dog, 4 years old. A big personality packed into short legs. Toys fear her (for good reason), because she's a professional-level chewer.
- Bear: Pembroke Welsh Corgi, 5 years old. His name is fitting because he has the appetite of a bear. And walks? Hard pass. He lives for belly rubs, treats, and being the center of everyone's attention.
- Cash: Black fluffy cat, 6 years old. I call him my little vampire because his teeth poke out of his mouth.
- Hank: Tuxedo cat, 1 year old. He always has something to say and won't rest until you hear him out.
Passions or hobbies outside of work
I love reading, so I’m a member of two book clubs. I’m also a freelance writer for Rover.com and an active member of the Charlotte Corgi Club. I play bass, and I love thrifting for vintage clothes on the weekends.
What's the best advice you've ever gotten?
My Dad told me that failing at something isn't really a failure if you give it your absolute best effort. Because in the end, you still learned something from it.
What is one thing you've done that most people have likely never experienced?
I swam with sharks in Hawaii!
On a Sunday morning, you'll find me…
Curled up on the couch with a hot coffee, a book, and my two dogs.
