Veterinarian
Dr Schroeder was born and raised in Barrington, Illinois. She did her undergraduate degree at Hope College in Holland, Michigan. Following college Dr Schroeder lived in Indianapolis, Indiana, and worked in the cancer research division of Riley Children's Hospital prior to veterinary school. She attended Veterinary school at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in Champaign/Urbana. After one too many cold winters, Dr. Schroeder moved to Phoenix and practiced in North Central Phoenix at East Maryland Animal Hospital for 23 years before deciding to join the AAWC team. Dr. Schroeder is very excited to join the AAWC team and help contribute to our high standards of care. Her areas of interests include canine and feline internal medicine, preventative care, and senior care. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
