Veterinarian and Owner
A native of Germany, I moved to the United States in 1994, following my husband Shane who is from Georgia (those Georgia boys will sweep you off your feet!). Veterinary medicine is my second career and I feel that it is my calling.
I finished my undergraduate studies at the University of North Georgia in 2004 with a B.S. in biology. I studied veterinary medicine at the University of Georgia and graduated in 2009. Since then I have been working in private practice and started working for Barrow Veterinary Hospital in 2015 as a relief veterinarian. In 2019, I bought over the practice and took over as the owner. I live in Winder with my husband Shane, our dog Stanley and our cat Ygritte Firecracker (Yggie). In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, scuba diving, swimming, and hiking and playing the guitar.
