Veterinarian
Dr. Rene Plant obtained her veterinary degree from Kansas State University in 2016. She completed a rotating internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital, where she realized her passion for emergency veterinary medicine.
Dr. Plant worked in small animal emergency hospitals in Colorado Springs and Castle Rock before joining the Veterinary Specialists of the Rockies emergency department.
In her free time, Dr. Plant enjoys spending time with her husband and son, getting lost in good fiction, and indulging her creative streak with crochet and knitting. She has a Pitbull mix dog named Hazel and three cats—Ferne, Fletcher, and Douglas Fir.
