Veterinarian
Dr. Pieter Steenkamp previously worked with Dr. Langerhans for several years and decided to rejoin our team in April 2019.
He obtained his DVM from the University of Pretoria College of Veterinary Medicine, South Africa in 2006. He went on to achieve board certification in Veterinary Wildlife Medicine before relocating to the United States in 2012. Dr. Steenkamp has been doing small animal emergency medicine exclusively since then.
Pieter and his wife, who is also a veterinarian, enjoy their collection of pets, hiking and rehabilitating wildlife in their free time.
