Favorite Part of my Job
My favorite part of my job is building relationships - whether that's with a new client with a brand new puppy or a nervous dog that has never known a Fear Free vet experience. I love being able to spend the time getting to know people and their pets so we can work together to develop an unique plan for each pet and situation.
Why I chose this profession
I chose this profession as a young girl in love with animals. My parents were kind and patient enough to let me keep pretty much any stray that I could get to follow me home. I began volunteering at a local clinic at the age of 11 and have continued on this path ever since. Veterinary medicine is challenging and wonderful. Even 12 years into this career, I still learn new things regularly and get to do things I've never done. I love the variety, the challenge and most of all, the relationships I've developed with people and their pets.
