Veterinarian
Dr. Melanie Burgess graduated in 2011 from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a native of Montgomery County and upon graduation returned to Maryland to practice small animal medicine. Dr. Burgess is fortunate to have been a veterinarian at Countryside for 8 years and counting! She lives in Ellicott City with her husband, children, dogs and cat. When she is not taking care of your pets, Dr. Burgess can be found walking her dogs, traveling, hiking or reading. She loves being anywhere near the water and gets to the beach whenever she can.
