Dr. Volkers was born in New York where she attended school at Cornell University for undergrad and studied Veterinary Medicine at University of Prince Edward Island, completing her internship in Rochester, NY in 2004.

Dr. Volkers specializes in laparoscopic (minimally invasive) surgery, but also truly enjoys building relationships with her patients to create individualized care.
Personal Hobbies & Interests
In her free time she stays very active with Crossfit training and obstacle courses like Spartan, as well as spending time with her family - including her girlfriend Kaila, retired racing greyhound - Phoenix, and two kitties - Moo Moo and Myles.
