When he isn't driving around to care for his clients, he and his wife, Joan, love to escape to The Vickers Ranch in Lake City, Colorado where they have a home that looks out over 18 miles of the Continental Divide. He adores fly fishing and skeet shooting. He enjoys working with churches in his community to raise funds to build facilities that provide community services. He has a son who is an executive in the automotive industry. His son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandchildren are the reasons that brought him to the Kansas City area. Both grandchildren are top team players in competitive soccer. While he and Joan do not have any pets at the moment, they have been pet owners since marrying in 1971 and their Bobkitty lived to be 27 years and 5 months old!
