Veterinarian
Dr. Ivanna Hummel-Bodak graduated magna cum laude from Allegheny College with a B.S. in biology in 1998 and from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Before coming to Hometown Veterinary Hospital, she has traveled and worked in clinics in both Pennsylvania and Arizona. Her main goals are to provide the best patient care available and foster the human-animal bond while keeping a personalized experience at the center of every appointment. She has special interests in internal medicine, dermatology, and ophthalmology and is working towards the American Association of Feline Practitioner's feline friendly commendation. She and her husband Michael have a "gentleman's farm" where they have a brood of three dogs, five cats, and nine chickens. This takes up a great deal of her free time, but she also tries to find time for gardening and preserving in the summer and brewing a variety of beers in the winter.
