Veterinarian
Dr. Mincks is originally from Tecumseh, Michigan, and graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology, followed by a Master’s degree in Food Safety. After completing her Master’s degree, she pursued her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian by attending Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completing her clinical year at Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2015. For the past 3 years, she has been practicing veterinary medicine in Gaylord, Michigan, and decided to relocate to the energetic city of Grand Rapids to be closer to family. She has special interests in behavior, cardiology, and dermatology, for which she has attended many continuing education conferences. In her spare time, she enjoys walks and hikes with her Lab mix, Calixte, and spending time with her two cats, Belle and Linus. She also plays drums and percussion with community symphonic bands, and enjoys musical theatre and travelling.
