Veterinarian
I was born in Pakistan into a family of veterinarians, so caring for animals has been a way of life for as long as I can remember. My father, an equine veterinarian, instilled in me a deep love for animals. Riding horses and playing polo were second nature to me from the time I could walk, and I even became a two-goal player in polo. Growing up surrounded by horses, cattle, sheep, dogs, and cats, I couldn’t imagine life without animals. My father continues to breed horses on our family farm in Pakistan, where his passion for animals thrives.
I earned my veterinary degree from the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences in Lahore, Pakistan, the oldest veterinary school in Asia. To further my expertise, I pursued an MSc in Biotechnology from the University of Abertay Dundee in Scotland, UK. My journey then took me to Canada, where I practiced as a small animal veterinarian before settling in Virginia. I fell in love with the weather here and enjoy raising my family with my 8-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter.
As a veterinarian, I am deeply passionate and compassionate, with a special interest in surgery, dentistry, and emergency medicine. When I’m not in the clinic, I enjoy traveling, camping, and hunting. Being surrounded by animals and nature is where I feel most at home.
