Emily Forehand DVM

Veterinarian

From as early as I can remember, I’ve always known that veterinary medicine was my calling. Growing up in Roanoke, Virginia, my love for animals only deepened over time. I pursued my undergraduate studies at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, where I majored in Biology and Spanish. My journey then took me to Colorado State University, where I earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

Although I miss the breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains, I’m thrilled to be back in my home state, practicing veterinary medicine at Columbia Pike Animal Hospital. Here, I’m passionate about emergency medicine and the rewarding challenge it brings.

When I’m not at the clinic, you can find me running, horseback riding, traveling, or spending quality time with my rescue pup, Memphis. Each day in this field reinforces my commitment to providing the best care for pets and their families.
