Veterinarian
Dr. Emily Cornwell is thrilled to be joining the Muddy Branch team! She is a recent transplant to Maryland having grown up in several states around the U.S. Dr. Cornwell graduated from Kalamazoo College in 2007 and spent a year as a Fulbright Scholar in Australia before attending Cornell University where she received her Ph.D. and DVM. She is also a Certified Aquatic Veterinarian. Dr. Cornwell enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but particularly likes the challenge of internal medicine cases. She also loves being able to get to know people and their pets and to be part of the team that keeps them happy and healthy. In her spare time, Dr. Cornwell enjoys hiking and running with her dog, Anya, as well as cooking and traveling.
