Veterinarian
A native of Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Habib left the east coast to attend the University of Arizona. As an animal health science major, she knew what she wanted to do and graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. Upon graduation, she completed an internship at California Animal Hospital and worked at several other facilities in the San Fernando Valley. She also owned a veterinary hospital for 10 years but says working at McGrath feels like home.
Dr. Habib admits to not having much free time, but when she does, she loves sharing it with her boyfriend who is an avid Yankees fan just like her as well as with her amazing daughter who lives in Baltimore. She also has an ice cream store where she enjoys making Italian ices and crème ice. Dr. Habib is also “mom” to a fur-family that shares her home, which includes Jefferson, a feral cat she rescued, Piglet and Charlotte a pair of Chihuahuas she took in at just 8 weeks old, and Garrett, a goldendoodle who loves agility and has won tricks titles!
