Veterinarian
Dr. Rebecka Celinder joined the Animal Hospital of Huntington Beach in December of 2015. She was born and raised in Sweden, and moved to California to spend time with the American side of her family and to attend university. She graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. Thereafter, she attended the Western University of Health Sciences in the city of Pomona where she achieved her status as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. After veterinary school, she completed a one-year rotating equine surgery and medicine internship in Somis, California. Her professional interests include ophthalmology and dermatology. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and visiting family in Sweden, and hiking with her dog Piper, an Australian cattle dog mix. She also is an avid runner, and has participated in several half marathons
