Dr. Pat was raised on a small farm in a suburb of Indianapolis. That is where her love for animals started. She attended Purdue University and graduated from Purdue University of Veterinary Medicine in 1976. While at Purdue, Dr. Pat meet her husband,Chuck, who was also going to vet school. When they graduated, they started a small animal practice across the street from Dr. Chuck's childhood home. Thru the years, the practice has grown and grown. Dr. Pat is a very proud mom of 2 children, Clay (an engineer at Novelis) and Dr. Jessica (a Purdue grad veterinarian practicing small animal medicine with her mom at Heritage Animal Hospital). Dr. Pat loves animals and people. She has 4 small dogs and loves to garden and spend time with her 3 grandchildren. She continues to love the field of veterinary medicine and giving quality care and compassion to all living things.
