Veterinarian and Owner
Dr. Linda Flieg opened Orchard Road Animal Hospital in 1992 as a full-service veterinary clinic providing quality health care for pets in a warm and caring environment. Dr. Flieg believes in improving pet health by incorporating nutrition, exercise, environment, medicine and surgery. She also strongly believes in pet owner education!
Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Flieg holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and a Degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri, Columbia.
With her dog Zeek, Dr. Flieg enjoys doing agility training and trials. She is proud to have achieved her C-ATCH with Lola in 2009. Her 28-acre farm gives them all plenty of room to run and play.

Why I chose this profession
Prior to opening Orchard Road Animal Hospital, Dr. Flieg practiced veterinary medicine in Aurora and Schaumburg.
Personal Hobbies & Interests
Dr. Flieg has two sons, Harrison and Sawyer, and a daughter, Amaya, as well as her dogs and cats. In her spare time, she enjoys biking, hiking, camping, reading novels and "very tedious puzzles." She has completed the RAGBRAI ride twice! Now she has added a Century Ride (100 miles within 12 hours) to her goal list!
