Veterinarian
Dr. Destiny Wedig grew up in a small, rural town in Wisconsin. She had several pets growing up and spent a lot of time at her friends’ farms doing their chores. At a young age, Dr. Wedig knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. Dr. Wedig attended The University of Minnesota School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2016. She currently has a household of rescues (two dogs named Trip and Newman and a cat named Harlequin). Dr. Wedig’s interest in veterinary medicine includes surgery, rehabilitation, and internal medicine. Dr. Wedig joined the Island Pet Hospital team in 2019.
