Veterinarian
Dr. Bennett was born and raised in Michigan. She attended Central Michigan University where she obtained a bachelor of science in biology. While attending CMU she was heavily involved in the band playing the trombone and also working at the local animal shelter as a feline care specialist.
After graduation, she attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville to study Veterinary Medicine (Go Vols!). She graduated with her doctorate of veterinary medicine (DVM) in 2017. Her special interests include small mammal exotics (pocket pets), and internal medicine.
She has two cats (Cecilia and Kovu) and two gerbils (William and Jeremiah), who have been very good sports about moving around the country. Her interests outside of veterinary medicine include reading, cooking, music, plays, and exploring the world.
