Veterinarian
After completing my training, I stayed for a semester as a teaching assistant for incoming freshman. Then I returned to Arizona during my first year to balance emergency medicine, Tucson Humane Society, and helping to build a new practice in Florence, AZ. This was an area with no veterinary care, one hour north of Tucson.
I created and built the current Coolidge Veterinary Hospital in 1988 while still servicing the Florence community operating two practices. We've expanded and remodelled twice in the last five years to provide space for our expanding city.

I've been attending symposiums and have a special interest in enhancing my ultrasound skills.
Personal Hobbies & Interests
Any leisure time is spent with my husband driving horse carriages for parades, weddings and other events. I also look forward to rekindling my interest in scuba diving when the opportunity to travel becomes available again.
