I'm Amy and I would call myself  "the crazy dachshund lady". My first dachshund was diagnosed with IVDD in 2016 and was surrendered the shelter due to her back issues, we were able to regain her mobility from acupuncture after being paralyzed for over 5 months. After that, I became infatuated with doxies and my pact of three are all proudly rescues. I've worked in various animal fields including, animal welfare with shelters and rescues, holistic therapy through hydrotherapy for senior and post-surgery dogs, and longtime Pet-CPR certified pet-sitter. Since my move to Rockville, I'm so happy to have found MBVC to continue my career in the animal field. I have my Psychology degree from West Virginia University and am able to utilize it within my diverse career fields.
