Amanda Flanagan

Medical Director

A New Jersey native, Dr. Amanda Flanagan completed her Bachelor’s in Animal Sciences at Penn State University, and then completed her VMD degree at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Flanagan began her veterinary career at animal hospitals in Pennsylvania as an Associate Veterinarian providing medical and surgical care for companion animals, with a focus on wellness and preventative medicine. Dr. Flanagan then transitioned to work for an emergency 24-hour specialty and referral hospital, St. Francis Veterinary Center of South Jersey, gaining valuable urgent care and surgery experience. In 2020, Dr. Flanagan joined GoodVets as Medical Director for GoodVets Uptown, helping open the hospital to overwhelming positive acclaim from the Uptown community and its residents.
