Our team has been here for a while, some of us over twenty years, and we're always ready to answer your questions and listen to your needs. From puppies to patriarchs, kittens to reigning queens, we treat every pet with the utmost respect and love. We won't try to make you pay for something you don't need; we'll tell you the truth as we see it and let you make your own decisions about what to do. Our reliability and welcoming atmosphere have made us an Aberdeen community staple for decades.

History
Blue Cross Veterinary Clinic in Aberdeen, WA was founded in 1929 by Dr. Roy Clarke, a celebrated World War One veteran. During his 43 year tenure here he won awards for cutting edge veterinary clinic design, helped the team of scientists who discovered the cause and cure for salmon disease, and translated a book on care and training of German Shepherd dogs which has gone through many editions and remains to this day the world standard for their care.
On Dr. Clarke's retirement the clinic was bought by Dr. Robert Fuller, who was here for twenty years. Dr. Fuller is renowned for his wildlife rehabilitation efforts, and orphaned fawns were often trotting about the clinic yard until they grew large and strong enough to make it on their own in the wild.
Dr. Michael Bergey is the vet here now, and has been for 23 years. Dr. Bergey has a masters in marine biology in addition to his DVM degree, and has done research on manatees, sea turtles, whales, dolphins, and seals. Dr. Bergey is a fiction writer as well, and his books "New Coyote" and "Coyote Season" are part of collections in the Library of Congress and over a dozen British libraries.
Four generations of pet owners have been coming here in the 87 years since our clinic was established.
