Beyond offering first rate modern veterinary care, our clinic also specializes in boarding and grooming for all size and breeds of dogs and cats. Our groomer, Mandy, is happy to consult with you about your pet's specific grooming needs and you can rest assured they will be in good hands. From the time your pet enters our front door to the time time they leave, we want their visit to be as comfortable as possible, so in addition to using low stress handling techniques, we use feline and canine pheromones throughout the hospital to provide a calming sensation and reduce your pet's stress. History
Suffolk Animal Hospital started as a small animal clinic 35+ years ago and was one of the original Suffolk small animal clinics, proudly serving the city of Suffolk and the surrounding communities. In 1985, the building itself underwent change with a major renovation and expansion and over the last three decades we have slowly grown and expanded.
The next chapter in our history began in December 2013 as the reigns were handed to Dr. Amber Carr and she took over ownership, allowing Dr. Joseph Bardales to enjoy a much deserved retirement.
