History
Our hospital opened in 2004 and has been proudly serving the Magnolia and surrounding communities since that time. Shady Brook Animal Hospital has been accredited by the Amercian Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 2005. In order to achieve this accreditation, our hospital was evaluated on approximately 900 standards of veterinary excellence. AAHA sets the standard for quality veterinary care in North America. These standards address patient care and pain management, surgery, pharmacy, laboratory, exam facilities, medical records, cleanliness, emergency services, dental care, diagnostic imaging, anesthesiology, and continuing education. To maintain our accreditation, Shady Brook Animal Hospital undergoes a comprehensive on-site evaluation every three years. AAHA accredited hospitals are recognized amoung the finest in the industry and only 15% of animal hospitals are accredited.
