At Highland Park Animal Hospital we offer traditional veterinary services as well as advanced services including cold laser therapy, ultrasonography, in-house lab work, and several additional areas of specialized surgeries such as soft tissue repairs, mass removals, splenectomies and orthopedic procedures such as FHO's (femoral head ostectomy) and TPLO's (tibial plateau leveling osteotomy).

History
Highland Park Animal Hospital was founded by Dr. Alton Hopkins and opened its doors to the public on June 23, 1964 with the goal of becoming and staying an integral part of the Highland Park community by providing outstanding veterinary care, as well as providing support to underserved dogs and cats via our non-profit, the Hard Luck Hound Society. Canine Country Club was created and opened in 2000.
We are a Heritage Veterinary Practice according to The American Veterinary Medical History Society because we have been in continuous operation for over 50 years.
