History
In 2009, Eleanor M. Green, DVM, DACVIM, DABVP became the Carl B. King Dean of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University. Her vision for the CVM has included ambitious construction projects, the establishment of the One Health and Equine Initiatives as well as partnerships with other universities throughout the Texas A&M University System to increase the number of DVM graduates and address the issues facing food animal and rural practice veterinary medicine in Texas. Dr. Green has a special interest in the future of veterinary medicine and the innovations that will help ensure a thriving profession.
