History
Since 1967, Willamette Veterinary Hospital has been a staple of Willamette Valley pet owners seeking the best that modern veterinary medicine has to offer for the care of their pets. For the first 20 years of our history we primarily focused on wellness care and internal medicine. However, after the practice was purchased by Dr. Steve Callahan in 1987, we expanded to include 24-hour emergency and critical care making us the only such provider in the Willamette Valley. 2007 saw the construction of a new facility specifically designed for the unique needs of our practice and clients. We moved into our new state-of-the-art veterinary hospital in August of 2008. Today we are a full-service veterinary hospital and 24-hour emergency and critical care center staffed by a team of highly skilled, caring medical professionals housed in a modern, warm and welcoming facility. All of our doctors and staff are pet owners who truly understand that your pet is an integral part of your family and that your relationship with your pet is unique.
