History
Park Lane Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1982 by Dr. Phil Linnemann. Dr. Phil was a beloved member of the Norman community and was voted "Best Veterinarian in Norman" many times. Due to Dr. Linnemann's commitment to providing the highest quality veterinary care, Park Lane Veterinary Hospital achieved AAHA accreditation in 1993, and we have proudly maintained that dedication to excellence through the years. Dr. Phil's passing was a very difficult and painful time for the staff, clients, and patients of Park Lane, but his legacy of compassionate and exceptional care has shaped the practice into the well-loved and busy veterinary facility that it remains today.
In 2013, Dr. Jennifer Holland purchased Park Lane Veterinary Hospital after working as an associate veterinarian in a large, AAHA-accredited practice in Midwest City. A resident of Norman for 8 years, she was fortunate to inherit not only a wonderful clientele, but an exceptional staff and a location in the town she loves. The transition to new leadership was unusually seamless, as the practice philosophy, standard of care, and staff were a comfortable fit for Dr. Holland, and she experienced a warm reception from Park Lane Veterinary Hospital's loyal clientele.
Park Lane Veterinary Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital equipped to meet the varied healthcare needs of your pet. We offer complete wellness care based on our belief that preventive care is the best means to protect the well-being of your pet while minimizing the lifetime cost of care. This includes routine physical exams, laboratory work, nutritional counseling, specialized care for senior aged pets, appropriate vaccines, lost pet microchip ID, and a variety of other services. Should your pet require medical or surgical care, the expertise of Dr. Holland and her staff is enhanced by advanced diagnostic imaging equipment, in-house medical testing capabilities, a modern surgical suite, and a wide range of veterinary specialty resources.
However, a modern veterinary hospital is more than its equipment and the collective skills and experience of its staff. We are pet owners ourselves and understand how important your pet is to your family. We also understand how important it is to you that your pet receives veterinary care from professionals within a friendly and welcoming environment where your questions and opinions are respected.
At Park Lane Veterinary Hospital, we believe that our veterinary expertise and love for animals is of little use if we do not share that with you. We believe that client education is an important aspect of the work that we do and it is part of our mission to improve the human/animal bond and promote responsible pet ownership. When you come for a visit with your pet, we listen to your concerns and provide you with the latest information on caring for your type and breed of pet.
