The Animal Clinic (TAC) is an American Animal Hospital Association Certified hospital, meeting and exceeding the highest veterinary medical standards to offer your dogs and cats the best care possible. Dr. Gary Riggs and Dr. Lauren Terihay, Dr. Jordan Adair, and Dr. Emily Velez enjoy all types and sizes of dogs and cats. and their people as well! Dr. Riggs is American Board of Veterinary Practice Board Certified veterinarian with 30 years practice experience and is a Wadsworth native happy to be practicing in his hometown. Dr. Terihay has special interests in dog and cat internal medicine and surgery. Dr. Adair came to us from Maryland and has completed both an internship and residency at our practice. Dr. Velez, from Florida, has also completed an internship and is currently in a residency program with us. At TAC, our goal is to provide your pet with the best care possible based on your pet's and YOUR needs. The mainstay of any pet health program is a thorough physical exam by experienced doctors. We feel strongly that regular physical examinations and discussions with owners are the most important steps to diagnose or head-off health problems.

We perform all veterinary services from routine checkups, diagnostics, treatments, to surgery. If needed for diagnosis and treatment of your pet's health issuesTAC offers many options. In-house lab work performed by experienced registered technicians, digital radiographs, dental procedures, ultrasound, endoscopy, CT scans and MRI scans are just some of the diagnostic techniques the TAC staff can utilize for advanced pet care. If surgery is required, the Animal Clinic doctors are experienced to perform a wide range of general and orthopedic surgery. Laser and laparoscopic surgery is commonly utilized by Animal Clinic doctors to minimize pain, reduce hospitalization, and speed recovery.
