History
When Dr. John Simpson established Avon Lake Animal Clinic in 1962, he set the foundation for the standard of excellence in pet health that we continue today at our hospital. Currently Chief of Staff Dr. James Haddad, along with his partners Dr. Julie Letosky, Dr. Frank Krupka, and Dr. Jason Lamb, has grown the practice to include 10 veterinarians and over 60 support staff. While much has changed at our hospital over the years, our focus on compassionate veterinary care and our commitment to your pet's health has remained constant.
Avon Lake Animal Clinic is an AAHA accredited (American Animal Hospital Association) veterinary hospital. AAHA is the world's leading association of companion animal practitioners. This designation is only achieved by a very small percentage of animal hospitals in the country. Our hospital maintains this elite status by successfully undergoing periodic performance reviews by AAHA. We are very proud of this designation and will assure you that your pet will always get superior care at our facility.
