"All of my life, I wanted to become a veterinarian, but my life, like so many of our lives do, took several twists and turns before I achieved this childhood goal and dream. I grew up in the Cleveland area and graduated from the University of Akron and then The Ohio State University. Family, traditions, and community are very important values to me. I believe that our pets are a part of our family, and they deserve the best medicine and treatment that we can give them. My wife, Laura, believes in family and traditions, too. Together, we always wanted to try and give back and help people.The concept of Ohio Pet Vet came from my desire to practice outstanding medicine and be surrounded by doctors that had special interests in different areas of veterinary medicine. I also wanted to keep smaller local practices alive and growing, since I believe that they are part of the back bone of those communities. My wish is to have these practices offer cutting-edge medicine with compassion and exceptional client services, while keeping medicine affordable. I wanted to allow these neighborhood practices to prevail and not be 'swallowed' up by corporations and form the recipe for 'cook book medicine.' I never want a client to feel that they are just a number, and I want clients to feel a part of our family at our veterinary hospitals.We are locally owned veterinary hospitals that have created our own family, the Ohio Pet Vet Family. Each of our family members, or hospitals, has its own unique atmosphere and style, but we all practice quality medicine with gentle loving care. I believe what my mother would tell methat there is nothing like family, and they will always be there for you. With that being said, welcome to our family, and come on in! We'd love to have you as part of our family, and rest assured that we will treat your pet or family member just as if it were one of our own!"
