Our mission is to provide the highest quality medical and surgical care to our patients while providing our clients with education and assistance in all aspects of animal care and ownership, including public health awareness. We strive to exceed our clients' expectations by treating owners and their pets with respect, honesty, and compassion and treating all animals as if they were our own. Our services are provided in a clean, safe, and friendly environment and our goals are to work as a team, complementing each other's talents and retaining a positive attitude.

History
The history of Adams Farm Animal Hospital, P.A. (AFAH) in inextricably linked with the founder and current owner, Dr. Janet Raczkowski. Growing up in Puerto Rico, Dr. Janet knew she waned to be a veterinarian at a young age. She pursued her childhood dream and received her B.S. (1982), D.V.M. (1984) and M.S. in Pathology (1984) from Kansas State University. Upon graduation she worked as a small animal intern at KSU College of Veterinary Medicine Teaching Hospital until she and her family relocated to Raleigh, NC in December 1984. From 1984 until 1988 she was a dermatology intern at NCSU-CVM as well as a full time associate at Six Forks Animal Hospital in Raleigh. She worked as a full time associate veterinarian at Cobb Animal Clinic until she founded our hospital on November 6, 1989.
She opened the practice as the only veterinarian with a handful of dedicated staff. Within a year, the practice became AAHA accredited, and word continued to spread about the quality of service and the personal, compassionate medical care provided by Dr. Janet . Within a few short years, AFAH blossomed under Dr. Janet's dedicated leadership and continuous ethical, advanced and comprehensive veterinary care. From 2004 to 2006, the practice was renovated to accommodate the increase of clientele and services offered. Today, Dr. Janet continues to guide the daily operations and is joined by two excellent veterinarians, Dr. Eugenia Tan and Dr. Jenny Clark, along with an experienced, well trained staff to provide quality, compassionate medical care to you pet. Dr. Janet is extremely proud of our hospital team and facilities and has truly enjoyed being a part of Adams Farm Animal Hospital, P.A. since it's inception. It has been her pleasure to get to know so many wonderful people and the opportunity to become part of their veterinary health care team for so many years. She looks forward to coming to the hospital every day and continues to strive to excel in compassionate veterinary care to help improve our patient's lives!
