Carolina Veterinary Specialists daytime practice provides assistance to primary care veterinarians and their clients in the diagnosis and treatment of complicated animal diseases. Our emergency pet services are available on a walk-in basis after hours and on weekends when your veterinarian is unavailable.

History
Carolina Veterinary Specialists was founded in 1998 for the purpose of providing exceptional veterinary referral services and 24-hour emergency care to the veterinarians and pet owners of Charlotte, NC. Soon thereafter, offices were established in Greensboro, NC and Huntersville, NC. In 2006, Carolina Veterinary Specialists opened its fourth facility in Winston-Salem, NC. Our fifth office in Matthews opened in April 2011. Carolina Veterinary Specialists currently offers referral services in twelve specialty disciplines.
