Veterinary Emergency and Referral Group (VERG) was formed in 2005 by Dr. Brett Levitzke to provide emergency services and specialty medicine exclusively to the Brooklyn community. Open 24 hours, 7 days a week, our emergency/critical care units consist of teams of experienced and dedicated emergency doctors, technicians, and assistants working together to provide the highest quality care. VERG's specialty arm dedicated, compassionate, highly-qualified experts in the fields of surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, oncology, dermatology, and ophthalmology collaborate across services to deliver state-of-the-art care within a nurturing environment.
