History
Progressive Veterinary Care began more than 30 years ago as a small, one-doctor practice. It created a strong reputation for providing high-level medicine to the pets of central New Jersey. Dr. Michael Tokiwa took over ownership in the fall of 2005. His goals were simple. Keep the aspects that made the hospital great, but his drive has been to change the veterinary landscape, and part of that involved the creation of an environment conducive to a better life for the individuals that provide the best medicine to your pets.
By remaining true to our roots, and employing the advances in the veterinary medical field, we have grown into two multi-doctor facilities. In addition, we changed our name to simply, The Animal Hospital at Kingston and Blawenburg. It better reflects who we are and what we do. Simply put: a Small Hospital providing Big Medicine.
*We are one multi-doctor facility moved to the Blawenburg site, and we changed our name simply to the Animal Hospital. We have always strived to be a Small Hospital providing Big Medicine, but have remained Progressive throughout.
