Kirkwood Animal Hospital is dedicated to providing the best veterinary medical care to our patients and the best counsel and service to their owners. The combined years of experience in our 5 doctor practice help us accomplish this goal. We feel it is our responsibility as a professional veterinary staff to stay up to date on our veterinary education and provide state of the art diagnostic equipment and treatment facilities. Because we have multiple doctors on staff we can share and exchange ideas on the latest and best treatments for your pet. Our 20+ paraprofessional staff is evidence of our commitment to providing excellent service to our clients and patients. History
Dr. Bendick founded Kirkwood Animal Hospital in 1971 and remained owner until his passing in October of 2018. He poured his heart and soul into this practice, staying active in its management until the very end. It was his desire that we, the doctors and staff, continue to serve you, our clients and our community. The practice continues to be family run by his four children Matt, Brian, Katy, and Elizabeth (Lizzy).
