Dr. Mark Gutzmer was born and raised in Maryville, MO and attended Northwest Missouri State University. He graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. He worked in St. Louis at a small animal hospital for 5 years before moving to St. Joseph to purchase Wade Animal Clinic. He purchased the practice from Dr. Wade in February of 1997.
