History
Dr. John F. Wilson opened Wilson Veterinary Hospital as a community-based practice in 1990. The original hospital was located in a converted, historic home in Romeo, Michigan. As the area around us has grown, so has our practice. A larger facility was built in 1999 approximately 1/2 mile away from the original practice, and later expanded upon in 2007 to create a 6,300 square foot full service hospital and regional referral center. This central location offers the full range of services available to our clients, and also serves as a referral center for our satellite practices and other area veterinarians. Several of our staff veterinarians, including Dr. Wilson, work here regularly, and pride themselves on seeing a broad range of cases from wellness exams to emergencies.
