History

A Childhood Rooted in Nature: The story truly begins when Dr. Eric was a young boy. His love of nature and the outdoors was nurtured by his grandfather, the son of an orphaned Lebanese immigrant, who wisely instilled in him a love for trees and the importance of investing and cultivating land. Growing up surrounded by thriving forests, Eric developed a profound connection with animals and nature, shaping his purpose for the world around him and his personal favorite way to decompress!

Choosing a Different Path: While his family had a successful construction and real estate company, Eric listened to his heart and decided to go down his own path. Pursuing a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Management, his journey took him to West Virginia University. One summer, an internship with a veterinarian working with deer herds clinched his next destination in the journey: a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. He graduated from Michigan State University in 2012. GO GREEN!

A Family Affair: In 2012, Eric married his high school sweetheart, Katie. Together, they envisioned a life that blended their individual passions, their growing family, and a shared dream of creating a meaningful, family-centric life that contributes to the local community they live in and love. For Dr. Eric and Katie, Evergreen Veterinary Clinic is not just a business. Their intense commitment is to bring balance and joy, not only to the pets and clients they serve but also to the amazing work family they've thoughtfully assembled.
