Mission
We understand that pets are family members and we are dedicated to providing quality health care to your pet. We can provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures at our hospital and when necessary we work closely with local referral and specialty practices to make sure that your pet gets the best care available. We like to think of ourselves as your pet's family doctor". We are not an emergency or specialty practice, but we are fortunate to have practices nearby that specialize in emergency medicine as well as other disciplines and can provide coverage 24 hours daily every day of the week. It is Dr Marcoux's belief that practicing emergency medicine and other specialties requires equipment and staffing that is impossible for most veterinary practices to provide. If called upon we will do our best to provide your pet with emergency services until they can be transferred to an emergency facility.

Location & Areas We Serve
History
Dr Marcoux purchased what was then called Lawrence-Methuen Animal Hospital in 1978. There has been a long history of Veterinary Medicine being practiced in this building. Drs Moulthrop and Yeomans established a mixed animal Veterinary Practice here in the 1920s. Dr Martin Hoffman purchased the building from Dr Yeomans in the 1950's. Dr Marcoux was told this building used to house a carriage repair shop before it became an animal hospital. Because it is an older building, that was not initially built to house an animal hospital, the building has undergone multiple renovations.
