History
Dogs and Cats Veterinary Referral (DCVR) is a specialty hospital and 24-hour emergency center providing advanced veterinary medical care to pets across the Washington Metropolitan Area since 2003. DCVR was originally founded by Dr. Kathy Arrington and Dr. Luis Braz-Ruivo to provide specialized veterinary services in Cardiology and Internal Medicine. At present, DCVR has grown to include 7 specialists, 5 emergency clinicians, and 5 interns. We continue to strive every day to provide individualized, quality care from our entire team to our clients and patients, and look forward to continued growth and expansion of our hospital in the coming years.
